IMPORTANT UPDATE: The YouTube user LeopardOctober’s account has been removed and all his/her videos taken down and is now effectively ”erased” from the face of the internet by Apple. Sorry but that is the way the heads roll.

A while back we shared a Snow Leopard stacks video with you. Recently while reading Cult of Mac I Stumbled upon these videos of various builds of Snow Leopard from You Tuber LeopardOctober and found them very interesting.

This first one shows some very attractive changes to the Finder’s search options.

This next feature has enchanted me as well. Text Edit makes my world go round for its simplicity and power. If these new features are real… Well it would be awesome.

And for those of us who use Spaces it looks like life may get a little easier.

By default Leopard’s Spaces feature uses the same wallpaper for all of your spaces. This takes the fun out of having multiple spaces. Not only would it look nice to have different wallpapers for each space, but it would also add productivity and help you identify each of your spaces. So the change this download SpaceSuit and move it to the Applications folder.

Once you start up SpaceSuit changing images is simple. Drag the image to SpaceSuit’s Dock icon to apply it to the current Space.

To remove an image right-click on SpaceSuit’s Dock icon and select Remove Image:

SpaceSuit offers other options like setting colors for each space, fitting image to fill screen or  be centered. So play around with the settings to find what works best for you than set SpaceSuit to open at login so your setting will stay on. And may you Spaces be always graced with the beauty of multiple images!
